Who I thought about when I was in Binnenhof, The Hague, were legendary heroes of Indonesia: Moh. Hatta, Sutan Sjahrir, and Hamengku Buwono IX. They must have been there a hundred years ago. They must have stood in the place where I stood. Once I sat in the courtyard bench of the Parliament Building, I closed my eyes and made a wish for those who were there and made me peacefully stand tall over there.
