I’m telling you now, from all of the poor and alienate neighbor, you’re the only person who receive Kim Joo Won’s first and last hand-written letter. So you can be proud of yourself.

The wind blows and shaken the branches this afternoon. I hope that when you read this letter, it is in an afternoon when the wind is blowing, the tree is branches just like this. So I am hoping that you can see what I can see, stand at the window where I’ve stood before. Lie down on the bed that I’ve lain on. Read the books that I’ve read. If I can do it like this… This can be regarded as us being together. Like this, we’ll also look as happy as other couples…

Finally now I think that perhaps the magical spell we are under is a gift from the heavens. So laugh like a person who received an unexpected gift; if you laugh with your heart, I’ll hear that laughter. Because I am more capable person than you think.

Secret Garden #1 :: Fairy Tale Love Story

Monologue of Gil Ra Im:

There are things that are thought of as fantasies merely because they are far away. That is how it is in the world of stars. Just as it is with people who are too beautiful, they disappear easily. In the books I read in curiosity of his sincerity, this is a passage that grabbed my heart for a long time.

I realize now how beautiful of a person he is. Therefore, how far away he is from me. He will disappear someday, too. Just as people who are too beautiful often do.

Monologue of Kim Joo Won:

Alice in wonderland. Like a fairy tale.

A night when the galaxy penetrated the galaxy. A bad young boy stand there. Such trivial melancholy. He walks at the pace of memories.

Alice in wonderland syndrome. There is such a diseas. A mysterious visual confusion, as though looking the wrong way through a magnifying glass, that has you looking into a fairy tale day after day. A curious yet sad syndrome. It’s certain I’m a victim of this syndrome. If that’s not the case, then why the world do all the moments with that woman, who isn’t anything, become a fairy tale?

 

Alice asked : “will you tell me which way I should go?”

Cheshire Cat replied: “It depends on where you want to go.”

Alice said: “I don’t really care where I go. I want to arrive someplace.”

"Secret Garden" K-Drama

First, you have to know that it’s a rare thing for me to make perpetuation about Korean Drama. I only make perpetuation and set it up to this blog merely if the drama can make me feel enthusiastically for long time and make me want to watch it endlessly.

Now I'm telling you that it is really hard for me to make all perpetuation in this blog about this drama. I felt sorry for the time left to make these perpetuation because you know, I'd rather watch Secret Garden repeatedly than to type words from some dialogues. But, it's really sorry as well because every single dialogue in Secret Garden is packaged very awesomely, miraculously, marvelously, admirably –and other compliment words, by the Scriptwriter, Kim Eun Suk. Secret Garden's story line has mesmerized me starting from Episode 1 till end of the drama. The two main characters which are acted by Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won has an undeniable chemistry on and off the camera. I don’t want to omit the magnificent beauty nor the superb action of Ha Ji Won noona. I don’t want to omit as well how Hyun Bin oppa acted very totally to become “The cool Kim Joo Won” as a lover guy and as a CEO of LOEL Department store. I think, Kim Joo Won is my ideal husband to-be. Mwahahaa… notice it! Ok!

I’ve told you before, Secret Garden is one of my top Korean dramas so far. I think it's not only because of the couple, but also the great OSTs, great plot, great team. The whole production in Secret Garden was excellently done. I'm very thankful to Kim Eun Suk because she really did good job. Yes, she always does good job in every single drama or film she involved in as a great scriptwriter. I think she is one of the best scriptwriters in this world. Let’s see my perpetuation. "The Great Queen Seondeok" for me

Awal mula aku menonton serial korea satu ini adalah karena Keluarga Besar Saeroni tak pernah absent mantengin serial ini. Sebelumnya aku nggak terlalu terabsorbsi sama jalan ceritanya (karena terlalu sayang dan kengennya sama kegiatan kampus sore… bwahahahah!), sampai suatu saat kemaren saat episode hidupku adalah “Welcome My Holiday” aku jadi ter-virusi sama serial ini.

My first opinion, serial ini begitu berbeda dengan banyak serial korea pada umumnya yang biasanya menceritakan “Dramanya Drama Kehidupan”. Serial ini bukan hanya drama, namun juga ‘mbah’nya drama karena diambil dari peradaban zaman awal Korea mempublikasikan sejarahnya. Rasanya jadi ingat serial “Arya Kumandanu” dulu deh aku. Kapan yah dunia perfilm’an kita mampu merubah image pribadinya. Ckckck

Film The Great Queen Seondeok menceritakan seorang anak manusia yang ‘hampa’ hidupnya. But wait, bukan hampa lantaran karena hidupnya dipenuhi kepecundangan atau kepengecutan sehingga dia dirundung keputus-asaan. Tapi hampa karena dia harus dikenang banyak orang sepanjang zaman negerinya hidup dan mengenalnya. Begitulah Tuhan menakdirkannya. Sejak lahir, hidupnya tak pernah sekali pun menyentuh ke-hedonis-an sampai akhir hayatnya, walau ketika dia tengah menjadi seorang Ratu Besar sekali pun. Bahkan, untuk sekedar merasakan “secara nyata” cinta kasih dari laki-laki yang dicintainya pun, Tuhan belum mengizinkan. Walau begitu, Seondeok berhasil untuk menerima takdirnya dengan hati yang penuh rela. Poor… but AMAZING!!! Betapa hebat dia menahan godaan bermacam-macam hawa nafsu. Nafsu serakah, nafsu egois, nafsu berkuasa, dll…dsb. Menurutku, begitulah seorang pemimpin seharusnya. Negeri kita Indonesia saat ini, sangat miskin pemimpin hebat seperti itu. Selain itu, Sang Ratu yang satu ini begitu cerdas. Tidak hanya dalam mengatur strategi maupun memimpin Negeri Silla, tapi juga dalam meramalkan-meramalkan kondisi yang tengah terjadi maupun dalam mengambil keputusan dalam kesemrawutan. Siiipp dah pokoknya!!! Unfortunately, Tuhan mengambil nyawanya selagi usianya masih muda karena penyakit yang dideritanya. Menjadikan masa kepemimpinannya tidak berlangsung lama. Maka berlakulah pepatah berdalih, orang baik memang cepat perginya.

The Great Queen Seondeok

Seondeok, adalah tokoh nyata dalam sejarah Korea. Ia adalah anak kedua dari Raja Jinpyeong dan saudara kembar dari putri Cheonmyong. Ia memimpin salah satu kerajaan di Semenanjung Korea, namanya Kerajaan Silla. Ia adalah seorang Ratu pemimpin kerajaan pertama dalam sejarah Silla. Menurut engkong Wikipedia, saat itu di Semenanjung Korea ada tiga kerajaan besar : Gorgureyo, Baekje, dan Silla.

Banyak hal yang telah dilakukannya ketika tengah menjadi ratu, diantaranya membangun observatorium pertama di daerah timur jauh, Cheomseongdae.

Serta membangun hubungan baik dengan dinasti Tang di dataran China sehingga banyak keuntungan yang didapatkan karena hubungan baik itu diantaranya menaklukkan kerajaan besar Baekje. Setelah Seondeok meninggal, aku kira keponakannyalah yang menggantikan (Kim Choonco, anak dari kakaknya, Cheonmyong). Tapi ternyata digantikan sepupunya, Ratu Jindeok. Namun, setelah masa kepemimpinan dua ratu tersebut, Silla kembali diperintah oleh seorang Raja. Dialah Raja Taejong Muyeol (Kim Choonco). Raja inilah yang mempersatukan semenanjung korea dibawah kekuasaan Silla. Ia bersama panglima besar Kim Yushin dan bantuan dari dinasti Tang, menaklukkan kerajaan besar Baekje.

Nah ini dia, Kim Yushin adalah panglima perang terbesar sepanjang Silla berdiri. Sampai-sampai wujudnya diabadikan dalam sebuah patung yang hingga saat ini masih ada, di ibukota Silla tua, Gyeongju di KorSel sono. Jadi keinget sejarah Majapahit sewaktu diperintah Tribhuana Tungga Dewi, panglima perangnya Gadjah Mada. Yang pada masa Hayam Wuruk dinobatkan menjadi Maha Patih, dan merupakan panglima perang terbesar yang berambisi menyatukan Nusantara. Begitu pula Kim Yushin, dia berambisi menyatukan tiga kerajaan besar korea di bawah kekuasaan Silla.

Hmm… Menurut film, Kim Yushin ini jatuh cinta sama Seondeok. Namun begitulah… kasih tak sampai. Seondeok malah jatuh cinta sama Bidham yang notabene anaknya Misil, musuhnya sendiri. Oh Bidham… dia adalah tokoh kesukaanku, yihiii! Selain cakep warna kulitnya juga kecoklatan. Nggak seperti bangsa oriental lain. Heheeh… tapiohtapi, Bidham tewas ditangan Yushin gara-gara dianggap memberontak. Padahal waktu itu Seondeok telah berencana melepas mahkotanya agar bisa hidup bersama dengan orang yang dicintainya, Bidham. Seondeok ingin hidup dengan tenang jauh dari hiruk pikuk kerajaan karena bosan dengan kehampaan yang dari sejak lahir tak pernah meninggalkan jiwanya. Setelah Bidham tewas, Seondeok pun sakit-sakitan dan akhirnya meninggallah Ia… T,Tv [kasih tak sampai!!] *tragggissss dan seddddih menyayat hati* -sad ending-

Perlu diketahui ya, dalam sejarah, pemimpin terbesar Silla bukanlah Ratu Seondeok, melainkan kakeknya, Raja Jinheung.

Sesuatu yang menarik bagiku dalam serial ini, selain karena tokoh-tokoh hebatnya, juga karena kostum. Pakaian adatnya itu looh, beda banget sama pakaian korea zaman dahulu (Hanbok) yang biasa aku lihat (dan yang pernah aku pakai…xixixii). Aku menduga, ini karena kemungkinan Kerajaan Silla berlokasi di dekat Tiongkok dan Mongol. Jadinya bukan Hanbok yang dipakai tapi sejenis pakaian yang mirip pakaian bangsawan Tiongkok zaman dahulu. Tapi nyata-nyatanya nggak juga siih, nggak deket Tiongkok (But Baekje was) hmmm. Tapi gimanapun juga, keren banget deh itu pakaian. Membuatku bernafsu ingin mencobanya. Hahaha…

Ngomong-ngomong, aku juga nyidam pingin make tuh mahkota yang dipake Seondeok. Mahkota kebesaran Kerajaan Silla. Tapi sayang banget deh, mahkota itu udah terbang dan lalu mendarat di suatu museum di kota besar Paris sono. Konon, katanya, padahal, terbuat dari emas 24 karat looooh. Uuuuuwh! Kok kayak Negara kita aja ya barang-barang leluhur dijual ke ranah asing. Where’s our appreciation gone away??

Mahkota Silla

Eniwei pemirsa, ini film layak tonton banget, berasal dari Asia asli yang nggak norak, penuh filsuf kehidupan. Nggak nyesel deh mantengin 62 episode. Lumayan bergizi loh, daripada ngerusak mata cuma buat nonton sinetron-sinetron konyol. Yo ra!
